Tracks Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, GEO
Common labels are used for the same program functions, while the source terminology and mapping rules remain available in the replication data.
The scale indicators compare common program functions. They describe demand, reach, support, attendance, and program size, not learning outcomes.
Study design
The school is the case. The analysis reconstructs one documented transition across two successive deliveries. RQ2 is divided into configuration and participant reaction analyses.
Needs, alternatives, and recorded decisions.
Agendas, activities, roles, and service design.
Administrative stages, capacity, and support records.
Complete closed item distributions within each returned form set.
Required for learning, integration, transfer, and persistent relationships.
Program evolution
Three changes satisfy the complete trace rule: prior need, subsequent decision, and corresponding later program or organizational record.
Exact entry choices show how demand crossed track boundaries. They describe selected curricular paths, not attendance or learning.
Both panels report weekly physical attendance, with repeat participants counted in each week they attended.
Practical redesign
Feedback from the first edition was translated into a separately designed laboratory supported by the GSSI Robotics Laboratory. The 2026 program assigned four ninety minute slots, a complete program day, and seven contributors. Organizers report delivery through six macro groups working on one collaborative lunar logistics scenario.
The agenda, design record, contributor roster, and application schema establish the surrounding structure. The six group delivery and group composition process are organizer reported because no laboratory roster, assignment matrix, timing log, task completion record, or artifact archive was retained.
Computer Science led the school. In 2026, ROB connected software with physical systems, AI supplied the central computational bridge, and Social Science led GEO as a continuation into societal uses of space data.
Participant reactions
Complete category distributions are reported separately for 77 returned forms in 2025 and 82 in 2026.
International participation
Outreach, selection, scholarships, visa assistance, registration, communication, logistics, safety, and capacity were designed around in person participation.
Reported communication use. Organizers report that participants used Discord before arrival to exchange travel and accommodation information and arrange shared rooms. Organizers used it for logistical notices, speaker materials, and slides, while email remained the primary official channel. These observations establish use categories, not message volume, participation breadth, relationship formation, or persistence. Open the communication evidence.
Independent evaluation by track. Every selected track received a separate evaluation and admission decision. Of the 96 applicants selecting ROB, AI, and GEO, 26 were admitted to one track, 37 to two, 1 to all three, and 32 to none. Open the aggregate transition data.
Cost adjusted scholarship amounts. The 2026 allocation rule combined a country indexed travel allowance, ranging from EUR 100 to EUR 1,300 across 70 country entries, with EUR 350 for accommodation in each awarded week. Travel was counted once when a recipient was selected for several tracks. This documents the rule intended to reduce geographic cost differences, not actual cost coverage or equal participation outcomes. Open the allocation rule.
These quantities document service volume and capacity. They do not establish equitable attendance, process efficiency, learning, or scholarship and visa outcomes.
Aggregate data
Every released CSV is available here, including the source schemas, paper output traceability, proposition evidence map, and validation inputs.
Executable reproduction
The analysis rebuilds manuscript tables and figures, checks schemas and arithmetic, audits provenance labels and privacy constraints, and exits with an error when any check fails.
A pass verifies released calculations and internal consistency. It does not independently validate author coding against restricted source artifacts.
Study design, aggregate data, instruments, source schemas, and provenance.
One Python command validates the package and regenerates the released outputs.
Exact LaTeX table and figure sources, SVG figures, JSON summaries, and the validation report.
Research documents
Human readable documents are accompanied by the complete machine readable and executable replication bundle.
